As A Patient

Time to Compete Care Bags are distributed through healthcare systems that are part of our national network. If you’re a young adult (ages 19–29) currently in treatment, ask your social worker, healthcare navigator, or oncology team if your hospital or clinic is partnered with us.

If they’re not yet in our network, encourage them to reach out—we’d love to welcome new systems into the Time to Compete community.

Once you receive your Care Bag, you’ll be invited to complete a short follow-up to better understand your needs and explore how we can continue to support you, because no one should face this alone.

Patient Navigators, Medical, and Social Workers

If you treat cancer patients aged 19-29, please join our team of patient care advocates or simply reach out to us. While this step is not required for us to support your patients, we would love to have you join our community so we can update you on what we are doing, events we are planning, and gather feedback from you on what we can do to meet the ongoing needs of your patients. In addition to signing up, we will send you some complimentary Time to Compete merchandise.

Athlete & Team Partnerships

One of the defining factors of Time to Compete is the competitive spirit embodied and nurtured by playing sports at all levels.  From school sports to the Olympics, all athletes understand what it is to compete with everything they have.

Like everyone else, most athletes have been affected by cancer in one way or another. We want to invite athletes at all levels to work with us.  Whether that means sharing your story, visiting a young adult to show you support in their fight, representing TTC on and off the field with swag, or helping us raise money, we want to work with you to make the competition with cancer a little easier.

Join our Time to Compete Community

Competitors, survivors, teams, and fans – we have all faced challenges and care about someone battling cancer. Join our team and tell your stories about on and off-the-field competitions, or simply become a part of our community. Our goal is to make the road a little less treacherous for young cancer patients.
